Stop watches – Now measure time to the last millisecond.

A watch is a piece of item that that displays time but recently, it also features the basic information one needs in consideration of time: date, year and of course, the month. Before, pocket watches are very fashionable, they even are considered to be one of the costly antiques these days. However, as time passes quickly and for convenience, watches are now more attractive when worn. Hence, pocket watches became one of the highly sought collectors’ items nevertheless.
A stop watch is a timepiece that is designed to measure time especially the "time elapsed" from a particular time it has been activated and deactivated. It is used when time periods must be measured precisely with minimum complications such as laboratory experiments and sporting events such as sprint and running. A large digital version of stopwatch is designed for viewing at a distance as in a sports stadium and is called a stop clock.
Stop watches are typically designed to start at a press of a button and stop by pressing the button for the second time to display the elapsed time. At the press of the second button, the stopwatch is then reset to zero. The second button is also used to record split time or lapses. When split time button is pressed while the watch is still running, the display then freezes, but then the watch mechanism continues running to record total elapsed time, then pressing the split button a second time allows the watch to display the total time.
On the other hand, mechanical stopwatches are powered by a mainspring, which must be periodically wound up. Further, digital electronic stopwatches are made up of crystal oscillator timing element that makes it more accurate than the mechanical ones. Because of the microchips contained in those watches, these watches often feature date and time-of-day function. Some may even have sensors allowing the stopwatch to be triggered by external events that makes time measuring far more accurate.
These days however, the most common type of watch is the "wristwatch" attached to the wrist and fastened with a watchband that is made of leather, nylon, straps, bracelet, or even ceramics. The inexpensive revolution of watches’ designs was made possible only this 20th century. In fact, most watches were designed for our pockets, with their covers separately composed or attached via the chain or fob. In addition to the wristwatch, PC users can now be reminded of time through usage of online stop watch. The latter is best used for online examination for proctors who are administering online examinations.
