Watches – So many brands available.
Take away the ability to synchronize our activities will, surely, make a society complex as ours cease to exist. Until a few hundred years ago there was no way to tell time accurately than the nearest hour. Watches made back then had only the hour hand because adding a minute hand would have been impractical due to the inaccurate mechanisms. Before miniaturization, which made watches less expensive, most watches were pocket watches. Pocket watches were carried separately, often in pockets attached to watch chains. The pocket watches were still quite expensive and denoted a high status in society.
The wristwatch is the most common type of time keeping device of this age. With the recent advances in automation and electronics, modern watches have become less expensive and more accurate making it a lucrative trade reflected by the numerous watch brands and watch makers. Different watch brands and watchmakers offer a variety of watches to choose from. Less expensive watches usually have electronic components. 
Electronically composed watches rarely have other movable components. Most importantly and similar to other electronic devices, watches are also using the piezoelectric state- of- the-art effect tiny quartz of crystals allowing the device to provide stability in terms of its main function as a timepiece. In this regard, electronic watches are also called or termed quartz watches. Less expensive watches have an analog or digital display. Expensive watches are usually mechanical in nature. They are expensive because they take more time to make and they are usually made with expensive parts such as expensive metals, like gold, and crystals. These watches require regular maintenance and adjustment, which entails going to watch repair shops with the right watch tools regularly even just for simple rewinding.
